SUMMER STARTS WITH NEW WORKSHOPS

This July we propose two workshops designed for family audiences and for all those who want to discover the mill in an active and creative way. The first option is ‘Coas mans na masa’, a workshop in which we will transform simple ingredients into homemade dough to create decorative bread figures. While we knead, we will learn how grain was ground and bread was made in the old mill and in the Lestache family bakery. If you prefer to get to the point, your option is ‘Repicando’, in which we will learn how flour mills worked by creating a miniature replica of a millstone, using modelling clay. We will learn about their mechanisms and the care they required to maintain their high level of grinding. These are perfect activities for those who like to create with their hands and understand heritage from the inside. Both activities will be available throughout the month of July.
