At CIMIX, we are once again joining the celebration of International Museum Day, which will take place next May 18, with a special programme designed to bring the area’s industrial heritage closer to the public through visits and activities for the whole family.
Among the scheduled activities, the themed visit The King’s Arsenal stands out. This initiative focuses on the relationship between the Xuvia Mills, industrial production, and the construction of the Ferrol Arsenal, exploring the strategic role this industrial complex played in the economic and maritime history of the region.
The programme will also include the workshop Paper Factory, where participants will have the opportunity to learn about traditional paper-making processes in a practical way by creating their own recycled paper notebook, as well as the escape room Flour in Motion, a fun and collaborative activity designed to discover the history of the mill through gameplay and puzzle-solving. Throughout the day, the museum will exceptionally open its doors with free admission to all its facilities.
Those interested in taking part in the activities can find all the information and make their reservations through the booking platform available on this website.
